Timothy W. Jordan, Sr.

Age 57, of Erie, transitioned on June 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital. Tim was born in Greensfield, TN on June 24, 1966, son of Willis and Freddie Mae Martin, Sr.

He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. His first job after graduation was at Olive Garden where he was a prep cook. He then worked at the Elephant bar as a cook, trained at Accuride which led to his permanent job at General Electric.

Tim enjoyed singing and dancing and as a young adult, won several talent shows. He practiced Karate and Martial Arts. He once kicked a tree so hard, two leaves fell off! Martial Arts made him so strong that he was able to tear phone books in half.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rochelle Manus Jordan, children, Timothy D. Jordan, Jr., Olydia Jordan, Dana Jordan, Timaj Jordan, Ja'Vontae Jordan, Ja'Vaya Jordan, his siblings, Carolyn Jordan, Tabatha Bridgeman, Juanita Gregory, Willis Martin, Jr. and Barry Hill. In addition, he is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jy’Niere Jordan, Tae’Onna Jordan, Ja’Nari Jordan, Ja’Braya Jordan, Da’Vari Jordan, Niyana Jordan, Lavianna Jordan A’Laya Jordan and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Jordan.

The family would like to especially thank Byron Vactor and Timothy Horton. The family appreciated you both for always being consistent with checking on Tim the entire length of his illness. From the bottom of our hearts - Thank you.

We were blessed to have Tim as our son, brother, uncle, father and husband. He was a great provider to his family and a great friend to the people in his life. You will be missed always, love you dearly.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Davis - Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 10:00 am until the time of his service at 12:30 pm. Burial will be private.
