Sean Marzette Stovall

Age 54, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Sean was born in Erie, PA on July 6, 1969. He was the son of Ruth (Jones) Stovall and the late Albert Stovall Sr.


Sean was a dedicated employee at Contine Corporation for over 32 years. He worked his way up to Assistant Plant Manager. He enjoyed playing cards, dominos, corn hole, and darts. Sean had a passion for driving motorcycles and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was the current president of the biker club "Savage Kings." Sean was respected and highly spoken of by the members of the Savage Kings and other biker clubs. He held his position with dignity and good character.


In addition to his father, Albert, Sean was preceded in death by his cousin, Dana Stovall, his maternal grandparents, Maudie Lee Brewster Jones and John Gore Jones and his paternal grandparents, Hattie Carr Stovall and Governor and Mandy Butts Stovall.

Survivors include his wife who loved and cared for him dearly, Sheila (Overton) Stovall; three children, Darius, DaSean, and Shaquay Stovall; 8 sisters, Brenda Stovall and Maudie King (Tony) Erie, PA, Crystal Stovall, Phoenix, AZ, Tiauna Stovall, Rockville, MD, Letitia Miles (Kenneth), Charity Easton (George), Deprina, and Sheronda Stovall, North Carolina; 6 brothers, Albert Logan (Doreen) of Erie, PA, Vernon Stovall (Markita), Columbia, SC, Albert Stovall, Sharon, PA, Tremayne Stovall of NC, Stephon (Kitty) and Caleb Stovall, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren, and two bonus daughters, Shamara Spearman and Roshay Benjamin; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and several very close friends, "His Chosen Family" who loved Sean dearly.


Friends are invited to call on the family, Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Second Baptist Church at 757 East 26th Street, with Rev. Charles E. Mock Eulogizing. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
