Lisa Lavette Johnson

a.k.a "Lipz"

Age 54, of Erie, transitioned on January 22, 2024. Lisa was born in Erie, Pa on December 1, 1969, daughter of the late Dorothy Ann Stovall. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her great grandmother, Lurender Roberts, her aunt, Willie Mae Roberts and her brothers, Lee Andrew Roberts, Ronald Johnson and Russell Asby.

Lisa attended Academy High School, she also studied at CCAC, following that she started her own cleaning business, where she showcased her excellent skills and dedication. She was a spiritual individual who found solace in her own way. In her free time, Lisa enjoyed cooking, cleaning, dancing and reading the KJV bible. She also had a talent for hairstyling, and she cherished moments spent with her loved ones.

Lisa leaves behind a legacy of love and family, her grandmother, Doris Johnson, who raised her, her children, Ja'Llisa Jones (Brandon), Jamera Wayne, Jaquayea Wayne, Javonna Moffet and Natesha Roberts. She was also a proud grandmother to, Jy'Sere, Ja'Zarion, Arionna, Ausaun, Bailey and Divinity, her siblings, Marzell Stovall (Latosha), Dorrain and Dorrell "Buck" Stovall, Shirley Johnson, Judy Rogers (Alfred), Tiffany Hemphill (William), Teresa Johnson, Raymond, Frank and Kenneth Johnson, Torrance Johnson (Tammy) and Curtis Roberts (Denise).

In addition, Lisa is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Lisa was a loving, caring and beautiful person inside and out, she had a natural empathy that touched the lives of those around her. Her smile was infectious, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her kind and loving nature will forever be remembered and cherished.

Relatives and friends are invited to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm.
